KP trek preparation

The preparation for the trek is very much unusual from the lot of other treks I have done. My most of the treks is prepared on the fly and with the least preparation possible. Whenever I/we(friends) have tried to plan for a trek in advance, the trek has not started off at all.

I remember the trek to Sakleshpur. We all decided 2 days before and only couple of them ran around for all the stuff as most of them were busy. We did not even book for the bus tickets. Finally the day we left Bangalore, we went to the bus-stand just to find that there are no seats available to Sakleshpur. It was way past 11.00 PM and luckily as we were in large number, the station master or whatever he is called agreed to start another bus at about 12.00 midnight which was supposed to leave next day morning.

Having done such a poor planning previously, this trek looks a bit weird with so much of planning going into it. But the excitement is still very high and eagerly looking forward for the trek probably even more than the Dal-Housie trek as I have been willing to go for Kumara Parvata (in short "KP") since my college days.
